iamindependent offers independent consultants the availability of a national health insurance plan through a choice of two unique service options, which are outlined below. If you choose to visit the Blue Cross Blue Shield website to look up your doctors, please select the PPO®Network option when you are performing your search.

Option 1
Through iamindependent's full service program, which is called MyWorkZone, your monthly premiums would be paid with pre-tax funds from your iamindependent account. If you utilize our full service, there is no additional service charge beyond the standard service administration fee that is assessed when iamindependent receives payment for your services.
 
Option 2
iamindependent's health insurance only program is ideal for independent consultants that are only interested in obtaining quality healthcare for themselves [and their family members, if applicable].
 
:· $50 setup fee and $599 per year service administration fee [non-refundable], which is payable at the time of enrollment.
     
:· Your first month’s premium is due at time of your enrollment.

Health plan becomes effective 1st day of the following month [no less than 30 days from date of enrollment].

You will have to receive one payroll check per year from iamindependent. At the time of enrollment, you'll have to forward iamindependent $500 from which iamindependent will issue you a gross W-2 payroll check in the amount of $436.10 [the delta between the $500 and the $436.10 is for employer-side payroll costs incurred by iamindependent].
